International College of Professional Celebrants

Having trained with the ICPC (International College of Professional Celebrants) in 2023, I am now a trainer for the organisation. I get to combine my passion for celebrancy with my teaching experience.
About the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC)
The International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC) is the biggest celebrant training organisation in the UK. Offering residential courses and Ofqual accredited qualifications, there really is no better place to train. I invested in my training and this investment demonstrates my commitment to being the best celebrant I can be. And this will show throughout the time we plan your ceremony together.
When I completed the course, it covered ceremony design, public speaking, client communication, and ethical practice. I also get the continuing benefit of a supportive community which promotes best practices.
As a trainer now with the the ICPC, I teach the course several times a year alongside my own celebrant work. I deliver CPD to celebrants all over the country and get to attend training myself. I am committed to my on CPD and am always learning from my colleagues and the students I meet.

Sam White, ICPC Trainer
Hello, I’m Sam. I’m an educator and celebrant passionate about all things ceremonial. Having been a secondary school music and English teacher for 25 years, I am thrilled to be a trainer for the ICPC. During my tenure as Assistant Headteacher, I had oversight of diversity, equity and inclusion working with colleagues to create policies and practices to improve the sense of belonging felt by all in the community. I supported the most vulnerable families through my work as a head of house. Still very much part of education, I continue to work with parents supporting and coaching them as they see their children through secondary school.
As a celebrant, I create modern, bright and inclusive ceremonies for families, couples and businesses. It’s just so wonderful that we, as celebrants, help them to have a meaningful ceremony that will be remembered for years to come. It is my mission to spread the message that you can hold a funeral or celebration of life anywhere and I specialise in helping families achieve this for their person. It is an absolute honour to be able to be present at the start of your celebrant journey.
When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family, singing in choirs and playing a bit of Brazilian percussion.
